Right Brain/Left Brain: Making the Best of Each Side.
This paper examines the dynamics and functions of the right and left side of the brain. It uses biological, social, and emotional standards to measure the function of each side of the brain. It outlines the function of each side of the brain and draws conclusions about the relative value of right and left-brain individuals. Does man have two brains? Not really, but the human brain is divided into a right and left hemisphere and each hemisphere of the brain performs different functions. One side is often dominant over the other and this leads to the expression, left-brainers and right-brainers. The left?brainers are the great thinkers and scientists and the right?brainers are the artists, but these perceptions of the left and right brain hemispheres and the power they have over the development of personality and behavior traits may be slightly overstated. Some people do use one side of their brains more than others, but the two halves work together and each person has the ability to make the best of what each side of his brain has to offer.
